Annie Lupardus left a career in tech marketing to start Nine Oaks Studio when she saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the local construction and design market: helping local families undertake large-scale remodels from start to finish. She is passionate about listening to her clients — and the original design intent of the homes themselves — to create spaces that perfectly suit both the personalities and tastes of the families she works with as well as the neighborhoods and communities they live in.
Prior to starting Nine Oaks, she spent a combined 15 years leading creative and strategy teams at eBay and Airbnb, where she honed a world-class skill set in project management, budget oversight, and vendor relations, all of which she brings to her clients today.
Annie lives in Lafayette, CA with her husband and two sons. She is a fifth-generation Californian, and much of her design sensibility is influenced by the lifestyle, natural landscape, and architectural history of the West. Annie sits on the board of the Lafayette Historical Society and the Las Trampas Pool, and is actively involved in the local PTA. When not working, volunteering, or shuttling her kids around, she loves cooking, reading, and walking the local trails with her husband or girlfriends.
